Are you seeking an exciting and challenging opportunity in IT Procurement as the next step in your career? This opportunity will see you join a growing financial services client that is working towards establishing a new group procurement function from its Frankfurt HQ.

You will be leading the IT Procurement Category with a budget of approx €40M per year across mostly Software and IT Services across the European market. You will report to the Group Head of Procurement and have a direct line of contact with several senior executives in IT and other functions to deliver your strategies and commercial plans that will bring long-term value to the organization.

The IT Procurement Manager will have responsibility for:

• Owning the IT Procurement category strategy for the region ensuring good process management from demand gathering to contract negotiation and vendor onboarding for a variety of IT spend (Hardware, software, networks, telco) including sourcing, contract management, and bid support.
• Managing a high volume of suppliers across multiple IT spend categories totaling more than €40M in annual purchasing budget.
• Providing subject matter expertise on IT procurement matters to internal stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership.
• Creating rigorous and detailed spend analytics to report on procurement activities and show a clear understanding of the market.
