This is a best-in-class Procurement function Globally, and our client is carefully looking for the right person to start as soon as possible.

Your Role : Strategic, Global, Impactful

As the Global Category Manager, you will lead the strategy, sourcing and supplier management across key logistics categories including :

• Warehousing
• Customs services

You’ll be responsible for :

• Global category management and strategic sourcing
• Leading complex Global supplier negotiations and contracting
• Ongoing supplier performance and risk management
• Partnering with internal stakeholders across procurement, operations, supply chain and more
• Acting as a Procurement ambassador , driving alignment with global policies and ensuring best-in-class process compliance

What You Bring :

We\’re seeking a high-calibre professional with a proven background in complex global Procurement environments, specifically within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical technology . Extensive experience in the assigned categories and excellent communication in both German and English are a prerequosite for your application.

You’ll need :

• A strong track record in Global Procurement and tactical buying
• Deep expertise in logistics & warehousing procurement
• Solid experience in freight (air, ocean, road – FTL & LTL) and customs categories
• Leadership experience , able to influence across global teams
• Exceptional negotiation, strategic sourcing and communication skills
• The gravitas to work cross-functionally in a complex, international structure
• A data-driven, financially astute mindset and strong analytical skills
