Braun Management
Braun Management works with executive teams to solve organizational problems that have become too internal to fix. We focus on providing rigorous analysis and honest, evidence-backed conclusions for leadership teams facing structural friction.
The role
We are seeking a Graduate Data Analyst to support our team during an extensive engagement with a partner in the German logistics sector. In this position, you will help us gather and interpret data that reveals where operational friction exists and how decision rights are currently functioning. This is a junior role designed for someone who enjoys finding patterns in information and translating those patterns into clear, written reports. You will work within our fully remote team, contributing to the rigorous analysis that our clients rely on to make difficult decisions about their corporate structure.
What you will do
  • Extract and clean data from various sources to ensure our findings are based on accurate and reliable figures.
  • Create clear charts and tables that highlight bottlenecks and inefficiencies within logistics workflows.
  • Help map out internal decision-making structures based on organizational data and reporting lines.
  • Assist in the preparation of written documentation that explains our analytical findings to client leadership.
  • Track key performance indicators over time to monitor the progress of restructuring efforts.
  • Participate in team calls to help verify the logic and precision behind our evidence-backed conclusions.
  • Support the senior team by organizing datasets related to European governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Update internal databases to ensure we maintain a reliable history of project metrics and client outcomes.
What we are looking for
  • A university degree in data science, economics, business, or a similar field with a strong analytical focus.
  • High attention to detail when working with large or disorganized datasets that require manual sorting.
  • Basic familiarity with tools like Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and visualization.
  • An interest in how complex business systems operate and why they sometimes fail to meet objectives.
  • The ability to write clearly and concisely about technical or mathematical subjects for a non-technical audience.
  • Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment where self-management is a necessity.
  • Willingness to learn new analytical methods and adapt to the specific needs of a logistics consulting project.
  • A professional mindset that values precision and honesty over flashy presentations or trends.
How we work
Braun Management operates entirely through remote collaboration, which requires a high degree of accountability from everyone on the team. We rely heavily on written communication and detailed documentation to ensure that everyone is aligned on our goals for our logistics partner. Our culture is one of sober second thoughts, where we prioritize accuracy and clear thinking over speed. We do not use long, unnecessary meetings to solve problems: instead, we find that rigorous data analysis and quiet reflection lead to the best results for our clients. This remote structure allows us to focus on the work that matters without the distractions of a traditional office environment.
What we offer
  • A permanent, full-time position with a focus on long-term professional development.
  • The flexibility of a fully remote role that respects your focus and concentration.
  • A paid position with a salary that is competitive and attractive for the current market.
  • Exposure to complex organizational problems and high-level consulting projects.
  • An environment that values intellectual rigor and the discovery of structural truths.
  • Opportunities to develop technical skills in data cleaning, visualization, and reporting.
  • A workplace culture that prioritizes clear communication and evidence over corporate jargon.
By uncovering the data behind operational friction, you help our clients see their organizations as they truly are. Your work provides the foundational evidence for the difficult conversations that lead to meaningful change in the logistics industry. At Braun Management, your analysis becomes a clear and written path forward for leadership teams facing structural stagnation. We believe that identifying the core truth of a system is the only way to facilitate lasting growth.
