The role
Our partner is a Berlin-based firm currently undergoing a period of structural change, and we are supporting them by auditing their internal reporting systems. The Intern - Data Analyst exists to bridge the gap between raw operational data and clear organizational insights. In this position, you will help our team identify where operational friction is slowing down decision-making by organizing and interpreting complex datasets. This is a fully remote role that requires a high degree of precision and a genuine interest in how large organizations actually function behind the scenes.
What you will do
  • Organize and clean datasets related to internal workflows and project timelines to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify patterns of operational friction by comparing reported outcomes against established structural goals.
  • Create clear, simple data visualizations that help executive clients understand their current organizational reality.
  • Document the methodology used for each analysis to maintain a high standard of accountability and transparency.
  • Review internal reports and presentations to verify numerical accuracy and logical consistency before they reach the client.
  • Support senior consultants in preparing the evidence for hard conversations regarding leadership and performance.
  • Participate in internal reviews where we critique our own findings to ensure we are offering the most accurate path forward.
What we are looking for
  • Basic familiarity with data manipulation tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or introductory SQL.
  • A current student or recent graduate in a field that requires analytical thinking, such as economics, statistics, or business.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in large sets of information.
  • A preference for clear, direct writing over corporate jargon or overly complex explanations.
  • Genuine curiosity about complex business systems and the structural reasons why organizations succeed or fail.
  • Reliability in a remote setting, including the ability to manage your own schedule and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
  • Willingness to learn the specific nuances of European corporate governance and two-tier board structures.
