Junior Data Analyst

Berlin Vollzeit Kein Homeoffice möglich
Braun Management
Braun Management provides evidence-backed analysis and structural clarity to executive teams facing complex organizational friction across German speaking Europe. We address the difficult internal problems that hinder growth, such as opaque decision rights, underperformance, and stalled market entries.
The Role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support our consulting team by turning raw organizational data into clear, written conclusions. This position is central to our current engagement with a partner that is a leading German infrastructure entity, where we are investigating operational friction and helping to reorganize governance models. You will help ensure that the advice we give to executive teams is based on hard evidence rather than intuition or generic industry trends. This role is fully remote, allowing you to focus on rigorous analysis without the distractions of a conventional office environment.
What you will do
  • Collect and clean datasets related to organizational structures and workforce performance for our infrastructure partner.
  • Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies in client data sets.
  • Update and maintain internal dashboards that track the progress of structural changes and restructuring efforts.
  • Review client documentation to extract specific data points for various reporting projects and audits.
  • Collaborate with consultants to draft the data-driven sections of formal client reports.
  • Maintain the accuracy of our internal databases to ensure all consulting work remains reliable and precise.
  • Identify ways to simplify data collection processes across our remote workforce.
  • Prepare clear visualizations and charts that help explain complex business systems to executive boards.
What we are looking for
  • A strong academic background in statistics, economics, business administration, or a similar analytical field.
  • Basic proficiency with data tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, including an interest in learning more advanced functions.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to precision in every spreadsheet and report produced.
  • Clear and direct writing skills, with the ability to explain numbers and data trends in plain English.
  • A genuine interest in how large organizations function and the structural truths that dictate their success.
  • The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
  • Curiosity about complex business systems and a desire to understand organizational accountability.
  • Comfortable with receiving and acting on rigorous feedback regarding data accuracy and logical consistency.
How we work
Braun Management is a distributed team that operates entirely through remote collaboration. We prioritize written documentation over constant meetings, which allows for deeper focus and more thoughtful analysis of client problems. Every team member is expected to contribute to a shared culture of accountability and precision, regardless of their location. Our communication style is formal yet direct, ensuring that we move forward with a collective understanding of our goals and our clients needs.
What we offer
  • A permanent, full-time position with a paid salary that is competitive for the entry-level market.
  • A fully remote work arrangement that favors deep focus and individual productivity.
  • Direct exposure to high-level organizational consulting and complex infrastructure projects.
  • Structured mentorship from experienced consultants who value rigor, honesty, and clear thinking.
  • A working environment that respects individual focus and professional growth.
  • Access to the necessary software and tools required to perform data analysis effectively from a remote setting.
In this role, your work provides the bedrock for the structural advice we give to leadership teams facing their most difficult challenges. By identifying the underlying patterns in client data, you help us solve the organizational problems that others often avoid. Your contributions will ensure that our partner in the German infrastructure sector has a clear, evidence-backed path toward improved performance and long-term structural health.
