The role
This Web Developer Intern position exists to support our technical work for our partner, who is a major German logistics firm currently undergoing significant internal changes. To support this engagement, we need to build internal tools and reporting interfaces that clarify complex data and organizational hierarchies for the leadership team. You will assist in translating our consulting findings into functional web representations that help visualize structural truths. This is a fully remote role suitable for a student or junior developer who enjoys logical problem-solving and clean code.
What you will do

• Assist in the development of responsive web interfaces used to present organizational data to executive teams.
• Help maintain internal dashboards that track restructuring milestones and key performance metrics for the logistics project.
• Write clean, documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support various internal reporting tools.
• Collaborate with the consulting team to understand how technical tools can best reflect complex decision rights and accountabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues to ensure data is presented accurately during high-stakes remote presentations.
• Conduct basic data cleaning and structuring to prepare organizational information for web-based visualization.
• Create and update technical documentation to ensure all internal systems are well-understood by the remote team.

What we are looking for

• Academic background or self-taught proficiency in front-end web development basics, specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one modern library or framework is helpful, but not required for this internship.
• High attention to detail when it comes to layout consistency and data accuracy.
• An interest in business systems and how code can be used to solve organizational problems.
• Effective written communication skills to coordinate with team members in a remote environment.
• A methodical approach to work, focusing on clarity and logical structure over decorative elements.
• The ability to follow technical instructions and documentation while also identifying areas for improvement in existing code.
