Web Development Internship

Braun Management provides rigorous analysis and structural solutions to executive teams across German speaking Europe. We focus on resolving internal problems that hinder growth, such as organizational friction and unclear decision rights. For our current project, we are supporting our partner, a leading German infrastructure company, as they navigate a period of significant structural change.
The role
As a Web Development Intern, you will assist in the technical and structural maintenance of the digital platforms we use to deliver consulting solutions. Many of our clients require clear, data-heavy interfaces to track restructuring progress or document new governance standards. This role sits between technical execution and structural consulting, ensuring that our evidence-backed conclusions are accessible and reliable for the senior stakeholders we serve. It is a full-time, fully remote position that requires a careful approach to technical tasks.
What you will do

• Maintain and update internal web tools used to track project milestones for our infrastructure partner.
• Clean and structure large datasets for display on client dashboards using standard web technologies.
• Assist in the creation of clean, text-heavy documentation pages that explain complex business systems.
• Test user interfaces for accessibility and technical performance across different browsers and devices.
• Support the migration of legacy documents into new, organized digital repositories to improve accountability.
• Collaborate with our analysts to ensure all technical outputs are precise and free of errors.
• Research and suggest incremental improvements for internal data security and account management.

What we are looking for

• A foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on writing clean and readable code.
• A strong interest in how digital structures reflect organizational hierarchy and decision rights.
• High attention to detail in technical tasks, especially when handling sensitive client data.
• The ability to write clear, concise documentation that non-technical users can understand.
• A logical approach to problem-solving, particularly when diagnosing bugs or data inconsistencies.
• Comfort working across different technology stacks and a willingness to learn new systems.
• An appreciation for the unglamorous but necessary work of backend organization and site maintenance.
