We are looking for a hands‑on Industrial Designer / Electrical Engineer to join our Innovations team.
In this multidisciplinary role, you will help develop new mechatronic products and interactive HMI solutions - taking concepts from an initial idea through design, prototyping, testing, and demonstration.
You will work across disciplines and be involved in both the creative and technical aspects of product development. This is a practical role for someone who enjoys building things, experimenting with new technologies, solving technical challenges, and seeing ideas become real products.
- Design and build next-generation mechatronic and HMI prototypes.
- Develop product concepts from initial idea to functional prototype.
- Integrate electronics, sensors, displays, actuators, mechanics, and software.
- Create and modify CAD models using 3D printing and other rapid-prototyping techniques
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems and proof-of-concept electronics.
- Experiment with new technologies, test prototypes in real-world scenarios, and iteratively improve designs.
- Document and present designs and technical solutions, collaborating with engineers, designers, developers, and clients throughout the development process.
We are looking for someone with a broad technical interest and a strong desire to learn and create.
You may have a background in industrial design, electrical engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems, product development, or a related discipline.
You bring an affinity for:
- Electronics and electrical systems
- Embedded software and microcontrollers
- Sensors, displays, motors, and actuators
- Industrial and product design
- CAD and 3D modelling
- Prototyping, fabrication, and hands‑on making
- Creative and analytical problem solving
Experience with technologies such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, sensors, motors, displays, or PCB development is a strong advantage.
You do not need to be an expert in every area. What matters most is that you like making things—experimenting, taking things apart, building prototypes, testing ideas, and figuring out how to make something actually work..
We value curiosity, initiative, practical problem solving, and the willingness to learn just as much as specific technical experience.
