Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Business Manager (m/f/d) Sustainable Products .

As a Business Manager (m/f/d) Sustainable Products , you will lead and coordinate Regional / EMEA business development, while working closely with the Sales Business Development Director, Product Director, and EKAT.

This role can be filled at one of our EMEA locations. The specific office location will be based on the candidate’s preferences and business needs.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and deliver Sustainable strategy with the regions.
• Ensure alignment on Region and EMEA level.
• Ensure and coordinate development of Sustainable products with suppliers in collaboration with Product Director and Head of Product Manager of Region.
• Ensure and coordinate development of Sustainable products at customers in collaboration with the Sales in region and EKAT.
• Develop new suppliers with Low Carbon proposal.
• Central initiatives and Campaign management for sustainable products.
• Set-up marketing tools for promotion of products and solutions.
• Ensure and coordinate management of ISCC+.
• Ensure and coordinate CO2Xplorer usage by customers in collaboration with CO2Xplorer manager.
• Coordinate evolution of regulation with impact on Sustainable proposal.
• Influence sustainability performance through KPI management.

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Product Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of commercial experience (product management, business development).

Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of product development processes.
• Expertise in business development, market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights within the sustainability sector.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Personal Skills:

• Innovative mindset with the ability to drive change and challenge the status quo.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence teams.
• Proficiency in English.
