Our team in Essen currently has an opening for an SAP BTP Integration Consultant (m / f / d)

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in and drive the development, rollout, and operation of Brenntag’s global integration platform based on SAP Business Technology Platform
• Work closely with our business units, our delivery units, and external partners to provide tailored integration solutions for our global clients in a timely manner
• Consult and support internal and external partners on data and service integration challenges
• Design and develop specific integration solutions (e.g., data extraction, ingestion, and provisioning services)
• Plan, drive, and support implementation and rollout projects

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Systems preferred
• At least five years of experience as a professional developer and consultant, preferable with a focus on process integration
• Strong knowledge of interface designs, integration patterns as well as cloud technologies and solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, SAP Cloud SDK, Node.js / TypeScript, OData integration, IAM, OAuth, API Mgmt, Event Streaming / Kafka, Cloud Foundry, Azure DevOps, UI5)
• Strong OO implementation skills in an agile environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven architecture competence
• Experience in managing technical complex environments (SAP and non-SAP is a plus)
• Service orientation, good communication, and intercultural awareness
• Experience in working in an international project environment
