Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Senior Project Manager BES (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively and independently manage key projects and ensure alignment with leaders and other stakeholders
• Support in the development and execution of strategies and in the identification of new business opportunities
• Support systematic prioritization and development of transformation roadmap across regions
• General implementation (structuring, leading, driving) of portfolio of initiatives and roadmap at global level
• Track & challenge implementation, and provide reporting and other updates to management
• Support management in driving and steering of strategy and transformation by providing guidance, impulses, and hands-on support for selected initiatives to ensure progress, consistency, and quality
• Focus attention to what matters most, assess key execution risks, flag issues proactively and pre-emptively and communicate these to relevant stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE

• Master Degree Business, Management or related fields
• 6+ years of relevant project leading expertise in a top-tier management/strategy consultancy and multinational work environment
• Several years of experience in large-scale organizational transformations, operating model development and making operating models work
• Experience in chemical distribution will be advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of (agile) project management and tools
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, high capabilities of conceptual thinking and quick comprehension of new topics
• Self-driven, independent, and reliable working style with curiosity to think beyond the obvious
• Ability to deliver on ambitious targets with demanding deadlines
• High customer and results orientation
• Strong ability to manage complexity, work on several parallel workstreams, dynamic workflows and large-scale programs
• Communication, networking and interpersonal skills with ability to connect well
• Beeing a team player
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Willing to travel on business from time to time
