We are looking for a senior, hands-on Senior Sage X3 Finance Consultant capable of leading and executing finance workstreams in ERP transformation programs, while also supporting maintenance activities when required.
This consultant will join our Sage X3 delivery team, contributing to the evolution, improvement, and standardization of our implementation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Drive Finance workstreams in Sage X3 implementations and migrations.
- Execute hands-on activities including financial setup (Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, Dimensions), functional specifications, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Analyze and optimize Record-to-Report, AP/AR, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Costing/Management Accounting processes within Sage X3.
- Support both project delivery and maintenance/AMS (Application Management Services).
- Provide consultancy, conduct German-speaking customer workshops and drive business process alignment using standard Sage X3 business processes.
- Provide core design, system configuration, UAT support, data migration, cutover preparation, and hypercare.
- Work closely with Distribution and Manufacturing teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design (stock valuation, work orders, invoice matching).
- Support presales, scoping, and customer presentations in German and (occasionally) English.
- Contribute to the delivery team by developing templates, accelerators, reusable parameterizations, and implementation standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of Financial Management consulting experience in top-tier ERP software.
- Deep functional knowledge of Sage X3 Finance modules.
- Experience working with German industrial and manufacturing companies.
- Strong command of German and English.
- Experience with industrial projects, local German accounting regulations, and multi-country rollouts.
- Willingness to travel (depending on customer needs, usually 20%).
- Strong hands-on mindset with the ability to switch between project execution and maintenance tasks.
