Brightsmith are pleased to partner with a growing clean energy technology business supporting the adoption of renewable energy and electrified heating across Europe. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands‑on Warranty Manager with experience across solar PV and heat pumps to take ownership of warranty processes, technical issues, and after‑sales performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems who enjoys solving real‑world problems, working closely with installers and manufacturers, and improving the customer experience across the lifetime of an installation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing warranty claims across solar PV systems and heat pump installations.
- Investigating technical faults, identifying root causes and coordinating effective resolutions.
- Working directly with installers, manufacturers, suppliers and service partners to resolve warranty issues.
- Supporting the management of after‑sales service processes and ensuring claims are handled efficiently.
- Monitoring warranty trends, recurring faults and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating repairs, replacements and technical interventions where required.
- Developing and improving warranty procedures, documentation and reporting.
- Working closely with operations, technical and customer‑facing teams to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Taking a hands‑on approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex installation or equipment issues.
What experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in warranty management, technical service, after‑sales support or field operations within the renewable energy sector.
- Hands‑on experience with solar PV systems and heat pumps.
- Strong understanding of installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and common system faults.
- Experience managing warranty claims and working with manufacturers, installers or service providers.
- Ability to investigate technical issues, identify root causes and coordinate practical solutions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities.
- A customer‑focused, proactive approach with strong communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English would be advantageous
