Berlin, Remote/Hybrid – Travel to North Rhine Westphalia | Full-time | Hybrid | Up to €75K fixed

This start-up is advancing Direct-Air-Capture and electrolyser technologies to help accelerate the energy transition. As the business scales, they are looking to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager / Lead to build robust financial insights, shape strategic decisions, and play a critical role in driving growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Provide insightful analysis on company performance and key metrics
• Support fundraising activities through modelling and financial due diligence
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive data-led decision making
• Develop financial dashboards, reports, and systems to improve visibility and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and support process improvements

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or financial modelling
• Background in start-ups, scale-ups, or innovative technology companies is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• A proactive, structured, and hands-on approach suited to an early-stage environment
• Fluency in English; German language skills are beneficial but not essential

Location and Package

The role is based in North Rhine-Westphalia (but you can be based in Berlin, and travel), with flexibility to work in a hybrid model. The package offers up to €75K fixed, with potential for growth as the company expands. Relocation support can be discussed for candidates moving within Germany or the EU.
