About the Role - German Speaking Network Ops Engineer The role of a Network Operations Engineer is responsible for the Day-to-Day availability of the production network which includes all aspects of the WAN, LAN, Network Security, Cloud Internet Security Platform and Tools. The candidate will work closely with a mixture of Internal and External resources who will provide the Level 1 and Level 2 support. The successful candidate will require extensive experience in multinational environments and with the specific technologies used to deliver the associated services for the company. This is a technical position requiring both strong technical knowledge in conjunction with demonstration of ownership. You will support the network refresh project, deploying our latest network standard into production. Responsibilities Technical networking ability to troubleshoot WAN, LAN, Network Security, Cloud Internet Security Platform and Tools Service restoration, sustainability, and proactive service improvement. Participating and at times leading Major Incident conference calls and can identify required resources. Provide full Root Cause Analysis for any production outages. Patch management Managed Service Provider technical resource and capabilities evaluation Availability tracking and technical elimination of repeat incidents Qualifications Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT Operations Technical Engineering positions MUST be C2 German and above - spoken and written Required Skills Expert Knowledge of Carrier Services – SDWAN VeloCloud Cisco, Aruba
