ROLE SUMMARY

Executive Assistant Team Lead to help shape how senior leaders work, collaborate and succeed across Central Europe.
This is more than an executive support role. As a trusted partner to the
Area Director Central Europe , you will play a pivotal role in enabling leadership effectiveness, driving operational excellence and connecting stakeholders across markets and functions.
At the same time, you will lead a team of Executive Assistants, helping them grow, collaborate and deliver outstanding support in a dynamic international environment.

Your key responsibilities will include
- Partner closely with the Area Director Central Europe to manage priorities, coordinate strategic activities and support effective decision-making.
- Lead complex calendar management, leadership meetings, travel arrangements and key business engagements.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Central Europe and the wider BAT organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, sound judgement and discretion.
- Lead, coach and support a team of Executive Assistants, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture where everyone can contribute and grow.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance efficiency and improve the overall stakeholder experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and encourage the adoption of digital tools and innovative ways of working.
- Champion best-practice sharing and strengthening the Executive Assistant community across the area.
What are we looking for?
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Executive Assistant or in a similar business support role within a complex, international environment.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and managing multiple priorities with confidence and professionalism.
- Previous experience leading, coordinating or mentoring teams, with a passion for developing people.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and adapt to changing priorities.
- A track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters.
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Advanced MS Office capabilities and working knowledge of SAP.
