REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Manager Fire Protection in Winston Salem,NC. Your key responsibilities will include: Design and specification of building fire suppression systems. Perform fire and life safety inspections in order to ensure that buildings meet code requirements. Evaluate fire suppression system performance during and after a fire. Perform hydrant flow tests, backflow preventer inspections, and ensure proper operation of hydrants. Test backflow preventers to ensure that they are in working order. Provide prevention training as needed Read maps of the area to find out where the hydrants are located. Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure satisfactory performance during a fire; keep all equipment in good working order; and review inspection reports. What are we looking for? High School diploma or. Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Technical, Business, Management with 3 to 7 years of work experience years progressive work experience Experience Conducting Fire Protection Engineering inspection, studies, design, and complex calculations Perform interpretation and application of local, state, and federal requirements, and regulations, relative to all aspects of fire protection and life safety Design fire suppression system, fire alarm system, and prepare technical specifications Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to make sound and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Professional Suite and other system driven controls and data. Experience in an FDA regulated work environment.
