Our Client, a venture capital firm in Frankfurt, is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Investment Analyst/Associate to join a growing team. This role offers the chance to work on dynamic transactions across various sectors, with responsibilities spanning deal evaluation, execution, and portfolio management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, and a passion for uncovering and creating value through investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, LBO, precedent transactions), and in-depth market research to assess potential investments.
- Support the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities, providing strategic recommendations.
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and assist in due diligence processes, including financial, legal, and commercial reviews.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and contribute to the development of value-creation strategies.
- Collaborate with teams across various locations to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking (M&A, corporate finance), private equity, or venture capital.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields from a top university. Advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and German.
