Global Service Business Manager in Rüti

Overview

In this role you steer the global spare parts, retrofit and service business, leading an international team to shape profitable lifecycle solutions. You analyze customer needs, market potential and technology trends to define service offerings, pricing, and business models. You collaborate across Sales, Product Management and regions to expand international service growth and implement meaningful KPI-driven performance tracking. A core focus is driving digital service solutions and service excellence within a fast-changing machinery environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Lead strategic and operational development of the global spare parts, retrofit and service business
• Manage an international team of 10–15 employees
• Analyze customer needs, market potential and technology trends to develop profitable lifecycle solutions
• Own business models, service offerings and pricing strategies for spare parts, upgrades, retrofits and digital solutions
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management and regional organizations to expand international service business
• Define KPIs, establish performance reporting and track project progress

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Technical education with further studies in business administration (HF/FH/University)
• Several years of leadership/management experience in international service and/or sales in the machinery industry
• Extensive expertise in spare parts, service or retrofit business; experience in business model development and go-to-market strategies
• Strong customer focus, excellent negotiation skills and a drive for change and digital transformation
• Experience in developing and implementing digital service solutions; advanced SAP knowledge
• Fluent in German and English; willingness for international travel (~10%)
