A leading international investment management firm is currently seeking a Head of Risk to join its growing team to focus solely on Private Assets. This is a senior opportunity to oversee risk across a broad range of alternative investment strategies while partnering closely with investment professionals and senior leadership.
Reporting into the senior risk function, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing independent oversight across the investment lifecycle while contributing to the continued evolution of the firm's risk framework.
In this role, you will:
Provide independent risk oversight across private markets investments, reviewing transactions, valuations and key investment risks while supporting investment decision‑making.
Monitor portfolio‑level risks and present meaningful insights to senior stakeholders through regular governance and risk reporting.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the private markets risk framework, including processes, reporting and technology initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have extensive experience within private markets risk, investment risk, valuation or a similar function.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of alternative asset classes such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure and Real Estate.
Be an excellent communicator with the confidence to engage and challenge senior stakeholders while working independently.
