A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join a growing product and transformation team supporting the evolution of critical fund services and investment operations platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in fund services, asset servicing, fund accounting, depositary oversight or financial services consulting who is looking to move further into product development, business transformation, and technology-driven change initiatives.
The Opportunity
You'll work closely with business, technology and operational teams to help shape and deliver enhancements across a portfolio of products and services supporting investment management clients.
The role combines business analysis, product delivery and stakeholder engagement, offering exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives, process optimisation programmes and the implementation of new technologies across a complex financial services environment.
This position would suit an individual who is curious, proactive and eager to challenge existing ways of working while helping deliver practical solutions to business and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and product requirements from a variety of stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of product enhancements and strategic change initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows and functional requirements.
- Work closely with technology teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in backlog management, sprint planning and agile delivery activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance user experience.
- Analyse operational and product data to support decision-making and prioritisation.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
- Support the adoption of new processes, tools and ways of working.
- Contribute ideas around automation, digital transformation and the use of emerging technologies.
About You
- Experience within financial services, asset servicing, fund administration, fund accounting, custody, depositary services or a related consulting environment.
- Understanding of investment products, fund operations or fund oversight activities.
- Exposure to business analysis, product analysis or change delivery activities.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively to different audiences.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- Interest in product development, agile delivery methodologies and business transformation.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Jira or similar tools would be advantageous.
- German language skills are preferred.
