Hain Lifescience GmbH is a manufacturer and distributor of in-vitro diagnostics. Our customers include medical laboratories worldwide. Our core competencies are molecular genetic test systems and devices for detecting dangerous pathogens or hereditary diseases. For our R&D team in Nehren (Tübingen area) we are looking for an R&D Scientist Assay Development (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Development of molecular genetic test systems according to ISO 9001/13485
- Supervision of development projects from the planning phase to handover to production and QC
- Documentation of development projects according to our quality management system
- Supervision of evaluation studies
- Guidance of technical personnel
- Presentation of the development work
Qualifications
- University or technical college degree (biology, microbiology, biochemistry or biotechnology)
- Experience with quantitative real-time PCR and/or multi-channel/multiplex PCR
- Experience with automated DNA/RNA extraction processes
- Virological background and experience in dealing with viruses of risk group 2 according to § 44 of the IfSG (Infection Protection Act) is an advantage
- Open and communicative personality
- Independent and responsible working style
- Goal orientation and willingness to assume responsibility
- Ability to work in a team and high motivation
- Dedication and resilience
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Very good knowledge of English and IT
- German language mandatory
