Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised secondary teaching degree (PGCE, M.Ed., etc.).
- Minimum 3 years’ recent teaching experience (PER).
- Experience with inquiry and project‑based teaching.
- Comfortable using educational technology.
- Culture sensitive, collaborative, and able to build relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Self‑motivated, organised and reflective.
- Positive, flexible and willing to contribute to a dynamic school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that foster students’ competence and appreciation of German.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations, ensuring high academic standards and measurable progress.
- Contribute to the planning, development and review of the German curriculum within the department.
- Provide regular feedback, reports and assessments to students and parents.
- Participate in departmental and whole‑school meetings, professional development and collaborative projects.
- Promote a positive learning environment that reflects the values and ethos of the Mosaic School.
- Support school events, trips and extracurricular activities related to German language and culture.
