Location: Home Based in Germany, with frequent travel to meet clients

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that customers and their businesses/organisations gain value by assessing their systems and processes against BSI requirements.
  • Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure they understand the assessment decision and have clear direction regarding corrective actions, where appropriate.
  • Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations according to BSI policy, procedures, and within required timeframes.
  • Uphold BSI’s reputation through high-quality planning, delivery, reporting, and professional client interaction.
  • Demonstrate commercial insight and added value in client feedback.
  • Maintain a professional and engaging approach while assessing clients.
  • Lead assessment teams when required, ensuring preparation and coordination for quality delivery and effective collaboration.
  • Build strong client relationships that support long-term satisfaction and potential business growth.

Provide accurate, timely information to internal support teams, ensuring all client records and internal systems are updated and complete.

To be successful in the role:

  • Fully qualified Aerospace Auditor (AS/EN standards) with current authentication.
  • Registered as an AEA in the OASIS database (mandatory requirement).
  • Proven management system auditing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100.
  • Fluency in German (minimum C1) is compulsory
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1) is also required
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Strong integrity and ethical standards
  • Commercial awareness and focus on client value

Our offer:

The salary range for this position starts at €75,000 per year, with the final offer depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks.
