Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a General Practitioner (GP) collaborating with BTHT’s expert network and project team. The GP will provide clinical expertise on primary care and family medicine topics during expert calls and consultations with clients in healthcare and life sciences. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting clinical data, sharing practice-based insights, and advising on patient pathways, care models, and treatment approaches relevant to strategic, investment, and market research projects. The GP will contribute to structured interviews, help refine research questions, and may support the preparation or review of project materials to ensure medical accuracy and relevance. Scheduling is flexible and aligned with project needs, allowing the GP to participate alongside other professional commitments.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with practical experience managing a broad range of conditions in outpatient or community settings.
- Experience in Family Medicine and Nursing collaboration, demonstrating a team-based approach to patient care and interdisciplinary communication.
- Background in Training of healthcare professionals or students, including the ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly to non-clinical audiences.
- Current medical license or equivalent authorization to practice as a General Practitioner, with several years of post-qualification clinical experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to review clinical evidence and articulate implications for healthcare delivery and business decisions.
- Comfort working remotely, using digital tools for calls and document sharing, and managing time effectively across flexible, project-based engagements.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Previous involvement in healthcare consulting, market research, or advisory work is beneficial but not required.
