Railway Inspection Expert (m/f/d) – Design Review & Acceptance Inspections

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Design Reviews and Acceptance Inspections: You will conduct design reviews and acceptance inspections for railway construction projects in accordance with EIGV regulations.
• Technical Assessment: Review Technical Documentation
• Inspect Infrastructure Before Commissioning: You will oversee the technical inspection process and carry out acceptance inspections of completed railway infrastructure before commissioning.
• Technical Documentation: You will prepare technical assessments, expert opinions and inspection reports, ensuring that all findings are accurately and professionally documented.
• Build and Develop Your Own Inspection Division: You will contribute to establishing our new technical inspection division and support the professional development of junior engineers working towards their own official recognition.
• Technical Coordination: You will serve as a technical point of contact for clients, designers and construction supervision teams, supporting the coordination of complex inspection‑related matters.

Ihr Profil:

• A university degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Valid recognition by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as a Prüfsachverständiger under EIGV in at least one specialist discipline.
• In‑depth knowledge of relevant technical regulations and practical experience in design reviews and/or acceptance inspections.
• An independent, meticulous approach to work and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
• Business‑fluent German language skills (C1) and willingness to travel throughout the DACH region.
