From the European Headquarters in Ghent, where our local manufacturing, technical, and Customer Service Center are based, we attend customers throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. To further support our growth, we are looking for an Account Manager for the CEE/Poland region.
Mission Statement
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to grow sales in Eastern Germany using Buckman’s unique technologies and customer relationship management programs. You will be able to work independently while having support from your colleagues located across the CEE region.
Expectations for the Role
- Managing your accounts by focusing on positive operating profit
- Establishing business opportunities at new accounts in your region
- Ensuring the continuous supply of midterm project pipeline
- Identifying and achieving sales targets and forecasts
- Providing customers with required service and support to develop our position while delivering the budgeted profitability
- Taking a proactive approach in demonstrating and selling technical competence and identifying continuous improvement projects and showing clear ROI
- Coaching, training, and mentoring the field representatives & technical representatives within your assigned key accounts
- Running trials and ensuring trials’ evaluation plans are done
- Ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Managing inventories to a practical minimum
- Potential to lead a small team in the future as sales grow
Minimum Requirements to Apply
- Successful selling experience in the Paper Technologies industry (10 years as a minimum)
- Specific training in Paper Chemistries or Chemical Engineering is necessary (Bachelor’s degree is a must)
- Language: German and English
