Responsibilities
End-to-end responsibility for global IT operations, including Service Desk, platforms, physical infrastructure and end-user experience. Ensuring stable, secure and high-performing IT services across all locations. Leading and developing a distributed IT Operations organization, including multiple team leads. Managing the global service model (L1–L3) and continuous service improvement. Owning business‑critical platforms such as Azure, AWS, digital workplace, identity management and connectivity. Driving security and compliance operations (e.g. vulnerability management, incident response). Managing external partners, service providers and licensing models including FinOps. Owning IT Operations budget, KPIs and performance transparency towards senior leadership. Ensuring smooth transition from projects into stable operations. Collaborating closely with the CTO, senior business stakeholders and international teams. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT, including several years leading global IT operations or infrastructure organizations. Proven ownership of a global service desk and complex, multi‑cloud platform landscapes (Azure, AWS). Track record of running customer‑facing or product‑adjacent operational platforms (e.g. SaaS, IoT, connected products). Strong service‑management foundation (e.g. ITIL) with the ability to evolve operations towards modern, DevOps‑driven models. Hands‑on experience across core infrastructure domains: identity (Microsoft EntraID), end‑point management, networking/SD‑WAN, security operations and observability. Demonstrated success managing strategic vendors and contracts at scale. Excellent stakeholder management; able to translate between executive business language and deep technical detail. Fluent English required; German is a strong advantage. Benefits
