ROLE DESCRIPTION
We're looking for someone who makes things happen.
As our Venture Building & Commercial Lead, you'll work directly with the founder to turn breakthrough diagnostic technology into a commercially successful MedTech company.
You'll drive our commercial strategy, build strategic partnerships, and help navigate the path from research to market including the business, operational, and regulatory challenges along the way.
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, room for independent decisions, and the opportunity to shape a company from an early stage.

WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE
- Commercial Strategy & Market Development: Validate business cases, develop go-to-market strategies, and identify the most promising markets and customer segments. Build partnerships with healthcare providers, industry players, and potential customers turning opportunities into concrete commercial next steps.
- Venture Building & Strategic Operations: Help build the company behind the technology. Drive strategic projects, support fundraising and grant management, coordinate external stakeholders, and translate ambitious goals into actionable milestones.
- Regulatory & Commercial Readyness:Help navigate the path to commercialisation in a regulated industry. Coordinate regulatory activities, support IVDR and quality management preparations, and work with external experts on certification, reimbursement, and market access strategies.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves
- Degree in Business, Management, (Health)-Economics, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience
- Initial professional experience in business development, venture building, consulting, startup operations, or commercial strategy
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to turn complex challenges into actionable plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and take ownership from idea to execution
- An entrepreneurial mindset you think like an owner, act like a builder, and care about real-world impact
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in MedTech, diagnostics, digital health, or life sciences
- Familiarity with IVDR, ISO 13485, or medical device commercialisation
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement, market access, or health economics
- Experience with fundraising, public grants, or financial modelling
- An existing network in healthcare, industry, or the startup ecosystem
