Java Architect in Zürich

Looking for an experienced Application Responsible (AR) / System Architect to own and manage a business-critical application within a banking/financial services environment. The role combines application ownership, system architecture, production support, and stakeholder management to ensure application stability, performance, and future evolution.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end ownership of application availability, stability, and performance.Manage incidents, problems, changes, and releases.Define and maintain application architecture and technical roadmap.Coordinate with business, development, infrastructure, DBA, and vendor teams.Drive performance optimization, capacity planning, and system improvements.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.Required Skills7+ years of experience as an Application Manager / Application Responsible / System Architect.Strong hands-on experience with Java-based applications.Solid knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.Experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and production support.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with ACTICO Rules or other Business Rules Engine (BRMS/BRE) platforms.Banking or financial services industry experience.Familiarity with Linux, application servers, APIs, DevOps, and monitoring tools.Java | Spring Boot | Oracle DB | SQL | PL/SQL | REST APIs | ACTICO Rules | Linux | ServiceNow | Jira | Git | Jenkins #J-18808-Ljbffr
