Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks are:

1. Central contact person for all network planning issues and internal and external representation of the area of responsibility
2. Preparation and coordination of fundamental decisions for the area of responsibility and creation of framework specifications/regulations
3. Planning, consulting and support for fundamental issues in network management with regard to LAN, WAN, central network services and network security
4. Cross-site design, optimization and operation of the BKG network infrastructure

You bring with you:

1. Completed studies (Dipl. Uni/Master) in the field of computer science, business or administrative informatics or a field related to IT
2. Alternatively, you have a completed Bachelor\’s degree (or Dipl.-Ing. FH) and proven, equivalent skills and experience in the above-mentioned job profile of at least three years
3. Sound knowledge in the field of load balancing
4. IT baseline protection (BSI) as well as firewall techniques and security structures (preferably BSI-certified procedures) are familiar to you

What else is important to us:

1. ITIL Foundation or knowledge of the basic ITIL processes
2. Good oral and written communication skills in the German language (B2 level upwards)
3. Good organizational skills, enjoy teamwork and work independently
4. Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with the Security Check Act (SÜG)
