Overview
As Trade Operations Specialist at Bunge in Geneva, you will oversee the full lifecycle of dry bulk contracts (seeds and grains) to ensure compliant, efficient trade execution across Europe, Asia, and MENA. You will collaborate with trading, logistics, finance and quality teams to align operations with company standards and regional needs. You will tackle end-to-end process management, from vessel allocation to invoicing and performance monitoring, driving accuracy and timely delivery. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Identify and allocate new vessels to offices
- Follow-up on declarations, extensions, and port declarations
- Oversee nominations, chartering advice, and end-to-end lifecycle of dry bulk contracts
- Coordinate cargo movements, stock management, and transfers
- Oversee trade documentation preparation and verification
- Liaise with shared services and external partners (surveyors, insurers) as needed
- Monitor contract performance and ensure FOSFA and internal compliance
- Review and approve invoices, costs, and insurance documents
- Perform cost analysis and reporting on trades
- Maintain communication with international stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and MENA
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 7+ years of direct trade execution experience in dry bulk commodities (seeds/grains)
- Strong knowledge of international trade operations and contractual frameworks (FOSFA/GAFTA)
- Experience in multiple international markets (Europe, Asia, MENA) preferred
- Proficiency in SAP
- Experience in oils or related commodities beneficial
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
