Overview
As Global Trade Compliance Manager, you will shape and govern our global trade compliance program to align with business goals and international regulations. You’ll lead the design and ongoing improvement of the ICP, ensuring compliant deals and transparent risk management across the value chain. You will work with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to standardize processes, monitor KPIs, and drive data-driven decisions. This role offers meaningful impact by safeguarding regulatory compliance while enabling growth in a complex, global manufacturing environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop the global Trade Compliance strategy and framework
- Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, embargoes, and related regulations
- Design, implement, and govern the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) to mitigate and monitor risks
- Analyze business models and value chains to set policies and guidelines
- Review high-risk transactions and coordinate with senior management and Legal
- Manage global compliance audits, inspections, and follow-up actions
- Define and monitor Trade Compliance KPIs, reporting structures, and dashboards
- Act as Global Process Owner (GPO) for Trade Compliance processes (standardization, digitalization, data management)
- Review contracts and internal policies advising on foreign trade risk during projects and orders
- Develop and deliver global training programs to strengthen Trade Compliance capabilities across the organization
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5-7 years experience leading Trade Compliance in an industrial environment with export focus
- Comprehensive expertise in EU Export Controls, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions, U.S. EAR, etc.
- Strong knowledge of customs, origin, and preferential trade regulations
- Experience with Internal Compliance Programs (ICP), audits, risk assessment, and governance frameworks
- SAP (GTS) or similar platforms knowledge (e.g., AEB)
- Proficient in English, fluent in German
