Location Hidden Valley Elementary School- K-2ndEagle Ridge Middle School- Grades 3rd-5th Description The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has licensed openings for the 2026 summer school program located at Hidden Valley Elementary School and Eagle Ridge Middle School. The ALC grades K-2nd summer program will be at Hidden Valley Elementary school and grades 3rd-5th at Eagle Ridge Middle school. Schedule Daily Schedule:
Approximately 7:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Friday Calendar: June 10 and 11 Teacher PD Days: Required PD days are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Week 3: June 29, 30, July 1, 2 Week 4: July 6, 7, 8, 9 Week 5: July 13, 14, 15, 16 Week 6: July 20, 21, 22, 23 Week 7: July 27, 28, 29, 30
Transfer & Meal Times
Bus Drop off Time: 7:30-7:45 Breakfast: 7:30 - 8:00 Lunch: 11:15 - 12:30 Bus Pick Up Time: 2:45 – 3:00 Student Class Schedule: 8:00 - 2:45
Requirements Current Teaching License Preferred Qualifications Elementary teaching license preferred Preference given to candidates committing to the entire six weeks Job shares may be possible depending upon schedule and need Experience teaching elementary summer school Experience with Project-Based Learning at the elementary level Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
Rate of Pay $32.25 hourly per contractTotal teacher pay for the summer program is approximately $7,288 for 30 daysSummer hours are not guaranteed and reductions may occur based upon enrollment.
