Position: (Senior) Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

We’re seeking a dynamic (Senior) Business Development Manager (m/f/d) for our evolving luxury fashion division at our Hamburg headquarters. In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your strategic acumen, market analysis expertise, and persuasive skills to identify growth opportunities and drive business expansion. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in business development, profound luxury industry knowledge, and a passion for innovative market strategies.

Your Mission

1. Determine and evaluate opportunities for entering new markets or expanding existing ones, developing entry strategies that align with the company\’s premium positioning.
2. Identify and acquire new potential prospects to expand our supplier and client base.
3. Set up initial calls/meetings with prospects to evaluate potential.
4. Manage all relevant tasks related to onboarding potential prospects.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, buying, logistics, and finance for cohesive business development in our luxury category.
6. Gather and incorporate customer feedback into business strategies for continuous improvement.
7. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
8. Coordinate with operations leaders to develop solutions for potential partners.
9. Act as a brand ambassador for Buying Labs, demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for the company\’s vision.

Your Profile

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development.
2. Results and process-oriented, ideally within online B2B, fashion, or accessories sectors.
3. An existing network within the luxury industry is desirable.
4. Highly organized with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Willingness to work in a scale-up atmosphere.
6. Prepared for occasional travel to meet clients & suppliers, attend industry events, and explore opportunities.
7. Fluent in written and spoken English.
