  • Based in Munich, the

Retail Director Northern Europe will shape the future of Bulgari’s retail network across Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.

Leading 10 boutiques and their teams, this role is responsible for elevating commercial performance and profitability while setting a new standard for client experience and service excellence across the region.

As the driving force behind Bulgari’s retail ambition in Northern Europe, you will define the strategic direction of the network, evolve the retail perimeter, and strengthen the leadership capability required to sustain long-term growth.

As a member of the Northern European Executive Committee, you will play an active role in reinforcing the brand’s presence, desirability, and performance in the region.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Retail Strategy & Growth: Develop and own the retail vision, strategy, and multi-year plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability across Northern Europe.

Translate strategic priorities into clear objectives, actionable roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for the boutique network.

  • Market Intelligence & Commercial

Initiative: Scout competition, markets, locations, and touristic flows, proactively proposing bold commercial actions within your area of responsibility.

  • Performance & Client

Excellence: Drive, support, and challenge Store Managers on drivers of growth, including client experience, commercial and service KPIs, sales performance, and client development.

  • Leadership & Transformation

Coaching: Coach and support Store Managers to enhance leadership capability, drive retail transformation, unlock business opportunities, and foster people development.

  • Talent & Capability

Building: Partner closely with Human Resources and the Retail Sales Trainer to hire, train, and develop store teams, ensuring training plans reflect both team aspirations and state-of-the-art selling excellence.

  • Culture & Inspiration: Create an inspirational, growth-enabling environment that fosters a positive, high-performance culture across the region.
  • Cross-Functional

Partnership: Partner with other departments to maintain the highest operational standards through a structured, methodical, and solution-oriented approach, e. g., close collaboration with the Marketing team to define tailored network marketing plans.

  • Relationship & Stakeholder

Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships across boutiques and corporate functions, navigating stakeholder dynamics effectively and aligning diverse parties around common priorities.

  • Conflict Resolution & Change

Leadership: Address tensions, performance issues, and cross-functional challenges with sound judgment, diplomacy, and solution-oriented leadership, ensuring constructive outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent professional training, combined with significant retail leadership experience in complex and demanding environments; luxury experience is a strong advantage.
  • A strategic and commercially driven leader with a strong command of retail KPIs and the ability to combine vision with execution.
  • Proven ability to lead through clear objectives, strong accountability, and a consistent focus on results.
  • Strong relationship builder, able to influence effectively and collaborate across functions, cultures, and levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing people, coaching leaders, and building long-term capability.
  • Confident in handling difficult situations and resolving conflicts with maturity, clarity, and diplomacy.
  • Structured and methodical in approach, with strong judgment and the ability to navigate complexity with pragmatism and precision.
  • Highly attuned to luxury aesthetics, brand codes, and excellence in every detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and willing to travel extensively across the Northern European region.
  • Experience in selling high-end products is an advantage.
  • Very good command of English; German is a strong asset.
