Job
Scope: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, in particular under Mi CAR, Mi FID, and PSD II.
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, providing guidance to the business on necessary compliance adjustments.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including training and awareness programs.
Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation to ensure timely compliance with reporting obligations.
Support the business in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and regulatory approvals in Austria.
Requirements: A law degree (LLB, JD, Mag. iur., LL.
M., or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably within an in-house legal team, regulatory authority, financial firm or law firm.
Work experience in Austria and/or Germany preferred.
Strong understanding of Austrian and EU laws relating to regulatory compliance in particular with respect to Mi CAR, Mi FID and E-Money Directive / Payment Services Directive.
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
