Denza is the new brand from BYD, the world\’s largest manufacturer of electrified cars headquartered in Shenzhen, China. The brand is expanding to Germany this year with its new premium model, the Z9 GT shooting brake, equipped with unique technical features.
As Denza enters the German market, we are seeking a passionate and hands-on After Sales Manager (Germany) to support the successful market entry and long-term positioning of the brand. In this role, you will lead the establishment of Denza\’s After Sales operations in Germany, acting as a key project manager and liaison between Denza and the existing BYD After Sales and network development teams.
Your responsibilities include building a strong service partner network, ensuring full service readiness at launch, and managing key aftersales projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the customer experience of a premium EV brand from the ground up, leveraging BYD\’s infrastructure and expertise.
You will report directly to the Denza Director Germany, with a dotted line to the German and European After Sales teams.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage Denza\’s After Sales operations in Germany in collaboration with the network team.
- Act as the primary liaison between Denza and BYD\’s After Sales teams.
- Develop and manage a high-quality service partner network.
- Ensure full service readiness for market launch and beyond.
- Drive and manage cross-functional aftersales projects.
- Collaborate closely with BYD\’s existing After Sales organization.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Strong experience in automotive After Sales operations and project management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with German automotive service standards and dealer/service network structures.
- Hands-on mentality with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally (~50%).
- Valid EU Class B driver\’s license required.
- Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably around 10 years.
We seek a candidate with extensive automotive After Sales experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to bridge global and local teams in a fast-moving environment, utilizing digital media and social influencers to enhance brand visibility and success.
