C.P. Company is looking for a head of digital commerce leader to run our Direct-to-Consumer online business. This is a permanent role that begins by covering our Head of E-commerce during a period of maternity leave (approximately October 2026 onwards) — keeping the online business moving and the team steady — before transitioning into a permanent role focused on leading and growing our Marketplaces business, with continued senior support to the DTC e-commerce team. If you combine sharp commercial instinct with the technical fluency to run an enterprise storefront across multiple markets, and you want to shape a premium fashion brand's digital growth, this role is for you. The Role You will own the day-to-day running of C.P. Company's DTC e-commerce operation: online sales performance, the site experience and roadmap, content production, and e-commerce customer service. You are the operational owner who keeps the storefront converting and the release pipeline moving — while partnering closely with our Growth & Data functions (Performance Marketing, CRM, Analytics) to deliver the initiatives that drive revenue. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of roughly 8–10 people and work cross-functionally with Sales (buying & allocation), Brand Marketing, Logistics and IT. As the role transitions to its permanent form, your primary focus becomes the growth of our Marketplaces channel. What You Will Do During the maternity-cover period — running the DTC e-commerce operation: Own online sales performance — the promotional calendar, pricing and markdown execution, and the actions that deliver the revenue plan Lead online merchandising and market localization — the right assortment in the right depth by market Own the site experience and roadmap on our commerce platform — conversion-rate optimization, PDP and checkout improvements, and release/QA management with development partners Oversee e-commerce content production — product photography, PDP content and onsite campaign assets, aligned to the campaign calendar Oversee e-commerce customer service — including AI-assisted ticketing — protecting SLA and CSAT through peak and sale periods Act as the delivery engine for Growth initiatives — landing pages, catalog feeds and data flows — managing a single prioritized backlog with the Director Manage platform partners and technology vendors — commerce platform, integrations, payments and agencies Own e-commerce reporting and KPIs — conversion, AOV/UPT, full-price sell-through, stock cover, returns — and partner with marketing on CAC/ROAS Ensure storefront compliance across markets — payments and fraud, privacy, and accessibility (European Accessibility Act) In the permanent role — leading Marketplaces (primary focus): Own the Marketplaces growth strategy and channel P&L across partners (e.g. Zalando, Farfetch, Tmall) Plan marketplace assortment and merchandising by partner and by market Manage marketplace operations and logistics — fulfilment models, stock synchronization and returns Own catalog syndication, content and pricing across each channel Onboard new marketplace partners and lead expansion into new markets Provide senior support to the DTC e-commerce team as a secondary responsibility Who You Are You have 6–10 years in e-commerce, including time in a Head-of or Senior E-Commerce Manager role, ideally in premium or luxury fashion You have a proven online sales and merchandising track record — you have owned an online revenue target and consistently delivered it You have hands‑on marketplace experience (e.g. Zalando, Farfetch, Tmall) — assortment, operations, logistics and channel P&L You are hands‑on with enterprise commerce platforms — ideally across both Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify Plus — and comfortable directing technical delivery and platform evolution (integrations, releases, QA) You are data-driven — fluent in commerce analytics (e.g. GA4), dashboards and the core e-commerce KPIs — and translate data into action You are comfortable with cross‑border, multi‑market operations You lead and develop multi‑disciplinary teams (~8–10) and manage vendors and agencies effectively You are an excellent cross‑functional communicator, comfortable partnering with marketing, buying, logistics and IT You are fluent in Italian; English is a strong plus You are available to start around October 2026 and to commit to the role on a permanent basis beyond the cover period Why C.P. Company You will join a dynamic, cross-functional environment at a landmark premium fashion house, with the mandate to keep a fast-moving DTC business running and to build our next digital growth channel.
