The Country PO Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor offering in-country policy expertise and knowledge to support and educate leaders, managers and associates on all PO topics during key moments that matter. The role supports all unit customer groups in-country, enabling the delivery of lifecycle events, the employee value proposition, talent acquisition, talent management, learning, performance management, employee relations, rewards, pay and reporting. In addition, the role implements PO change initiatives at country level, acting as a detailed designer and agent of change by working with Business Partners. The Country PO Business Partner acts as a single point of contact within the country to align on People Partner-related issues, above-country topics and the coordination of country team members. This is a temporary position based in Basel, Switzerland, until 31 December 2027. /ph3Your Key Responsibilities /h3pYour responsibilities include, but not limited to: /pulliPartner with and coach managers and associates on People-related processes and moments that matter, providing credible advice and guidance across PO topics. /liliDrive PO initiatives in support of the overall PO strategy, including Diversity, Equity Inclusion initiatives, culture and corporate initiatives, and coach people managers on role evaluations in line with local governance. /liliPromote inclusion and psychological safety, support new hire onboarding initiatives and drive DI efforts in alignment with global and local initiatives. /liliDrive the utilization of data and analytics to identify risks and trends and apply business insights to inform decisions and actions. /liliDrive quality, effectiveness, efficiency and continuous improvement across PO People Partnering and related processes, using customer feedback to identify and implement enhancements that meet business and customer needs. /liliEnsure compliance with local equity and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and act as a first point of escalation for leaders and managers on day-to-day PO topics, providing expert advice, guidance and support. /liliLead the delivery of in-country transformations providing advice and guidance to managers and supporting the overall restructuring lifecycle. /liliLead the local implementation of large-scale and day-to-day organizational structure changes in line with country regulations and policies. /liliSupport the alignment and harmonization of local regulations and contribute to compliance, risk management and the review of relevant PO controls. /liliManage internal movement offers and mobility. /liliContribute ideas and solutions to the wider PO network, collaborating closely with Country Business Partners, Global Business Partners and other PO stakeholders. /liliProvide coaching and guidance to Country PO Business Partners on local policies and processes and build strong relationships across the PO community to understand needs and challenges and drive continuous improvement. /liliSupport and coach leaders, managers and associates across PO topics, promoting greater self-sufficiency in People processes. /liliProvide support in-country where there is no dedicated Talent Acquisition presence, as required. /li /ulh3What you’ll bring to the role /h3pEssential and Desirable Requirements: /pulliBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. /lili5-7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in an HR/PO Business Partner, People Partner or HR Generalist role within an international environment. /liliFluent English, both written and spoken, is required. /liliGerman language skills are desirable. /liliBroad functional experience and the ability to work effectively across different PO/HR areas. /liliExperience leading and working with large and/or diverse multi-functional teams. /liliStrong project management capabilities, with experience in operations management and execution. /liliExperience representing the organization and collaborating effectively across organizational and functional boundaries. /liliStrong business acumen, with the ability to connect different perspectives and translate business needs into effective people solutions. /liliExperience in change implementation, coaching and influencing stakeholders at different levels. /liliStrong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, employee relations and engagement, and performance management. /liliAbility to leverage data analysis and reporting to generate insights and support decision-making. /liliStrong stakeholder management and matrix collaboration skills. /liliStrong focus on operational excellence, combined with empathy and resilience. /li /ulh3Why Sandoz? /h3pSandoz is the global leader in Biosimilar and Generic medicines, a segment of the healthcare industry that delivers 80% of the world’s medicines at 30% of the cost, touching the lives of more than 1 billion people across 100+ countries!
