Job Summary
Accountable for contributing to the development of overall, cross‑functional programmes for a priority disease area or asset, shaping assets with strong commercial potential in line with therapeutic area priorities. Key Responsibilities
Providing direction and functional expertise within a cross‑functional disease area/asset team, prioritising the US market with enhanced focus on major markets and ensuring close collaboration with Strategy, Early Product, SGD/Development and MAP teams. Maintaining full P&L accountability and implementing local strategy and tactics for the country (or cluster of countries) for the business unit. Delivering sales, market share, growth and profit within agreed objectives, strengthening company culture and enhancing Sandoz's external reputation while supporting global and regional objectives. Identifying key stakeholders and establishing relationships with customers, influencers and decision‑makers to facilitate broader and deeper access to Sandoz products and improve patient outcomes. Leading, managing and developing a competitive disease area/asset strategy, influencing and partnering across the disease ecosystem to set strategy for current and future product portfolios and maximise patient impact. Defining and communicating a clear business vision and strategy (based on the global vision) for the disease area/asset and ensuring it is reflected in a focused, lean and responsive organisation. Supporting strategic cross‑asset alignment to consistently speak with one voice across the organisation. Developing the disease area/asset pipeline and portfolio, and maximising success of key launches through effective leadership across functions, building future capabilities and ensuring seamless cross‑functional collaboration. Accountably shaping market‑relevant assets to become standard of care, focusing on the US and global markets. Maintaining the integrity, consistency and evolution of each brand across the lifecycle and contributing to decisions on joint ventures, in‑licensing agreements and other business relationships that impact long‑term results. Fostering an excellence‑oriented, customer‑focused culture, innovation and building best‑in‑class teams that fully exploit all market opportunities. Driving talent acquisition, succession planning and development of associates, and leading by example to create a culture of feedback. When applicable, ensuring alignment and creating a common cross‑unit platform for successful collaboration within Sandoz, fostering strong collaboration between all business units and ensuring alignment in external stakeholder agenda, policies and compliance approaches. Key Qualifications & Skills
Work Experience: Leading large and/or diverse multi‑functional teams. Geographic Scope experience and P&L or unit accountability. People leadership and management experience. Agile mindset and ability to shift priorities quickly. Expertise in asset management, budget management and business development. Strong business strategy and commercial excellence capabilities. Proficiency in cross‑functional collaboration and cross‑functional team leadership. Customer orientation with a focus on healthcare sector understanding. Digital marketing knowledge and influence skills. Inspirational leadership and ability to navigate joint ventures and key account management. Market access, market share, market trend, marketing strategy and product lifecycle management (PLM). Product launches and experience with the medicine event cycle (from clinical development to launch). Negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement and management. Strategic partnership building and success in strategic partnerships. Languages: English.
