Join us, the future is ours to shape!Role OverviewThe National Key Account Manager will be responsible for promoting the Sandoz endocrinology portfolio and services to customers across Switzerland by providing information and education that supports optimized patient outcomes and drives sustainable business growth. The role combines end-to-end sales and key account responsibility with the strategic development and implementation of customer-centric projects with hospitals and other priority institutions, building long-term partnerships and ensuring strong national execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPromotes the Sandoz endocrinology portfolio and services across Switzerland to physicians and relevant local and institutional stakeholders by providing the latest, relevant and authorized data, key messages and disease information to the right customers at the right time, supporting HCP decision-making, optimizing patient outcomes, and ensuring all activities are conducted in an ethical and compliant manner.Takes full accountability for the national sales territory, including customer segmentation, prioritization, call planning, territory analysis and execution against agreed sales objectives and KPIs.Maintains deep and current knowledge of endocrinology, the growth hormone market, patient pathways, competitor activities, customer needs and institutional dynamics, and focuses effort on the highest-value opportunities.Develops and executes strategic account plans for priority endocrinology centres, hospitals and networks across Switzerland, building strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and creating mutual value.Identifies, designs and leads strategic projects with hospitals and other priority institutions, translating customer needs and business opportunities into compliant, scalable solutions that support patient pathways and account development.Coordinates hospital projects end to end, including stakeholder mapping, objective setting, internal alignment, implementation, follow-up, impact assessment and sharing of learnings across the organization.Drives regular business and account reviews, identifies growth opportunities and risks, and translates national strategy into concrete customer and field activities with clear ownership and follow-through.Gathers, analyses and shares customer, market and pathway insights to inform commercial strategy, forecast assumptions, resource allocation and future project priorities.Builds effective networks with pediatric and adult endocrinologists, hospital stakeholders and other relevant healthcare professionals involved in the patient pathway, adapting engagement to regional and language-specific needs across Switzerland.Leads and coordinates cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Patient Services and other relevant functions to ensure aligned, compliant and timely execution of account plans and hospital projects.Ensures high-quality documentation of customer interactions, account plans, project progress and outcomes in the relevant systems, and actively shares best practices and insights with the wider team.Manages the national territory and project portfolio with strong prioritization, balancing day-to-day sales execution with longer-term strategic account and hospital development.Behaves ethically, complies with regulatory requirements and adheres to Sandoz values, behaviours and applicable policies in all customer interactions and projects.Essential and Desirable RequirementsFluency in German; knowledge of French is preferred and English is an advantage.5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution or sales.Strong relationship-building skills and ability to develop sustainable professional networks.Established network within the defined customer group, particularly pediatric endocrinology, is desirable.Proven experience in the successful launch and management of biosimilars, preferably in pediatric endocrinology.Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with KPI-based performance management.Entrepreneurial mindset with a clear focus on results and implementation.High level of personal accountability, resilience and ability to prioritize effectively.High integrity and consistent compliance orientation.Willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland and possession of a valid Category B driver’s licence.Why Sandoz?Sandoz is the global leader in Biosimilar and Generic medicines, a segment of the healthcare industry that delivers 80% of the world’s medicines at 30% of the cost, touching the lives of more than 1 billion people across 100+ countries!
