We are looking for a self-driven PMO+ professional to consult the continued development of Agentic PMO and Project Management offerings.
The role provides additional delivery capacity across multiple streams, reduces coordination effort and drives prioritised topics to structured outcomes.
The focus is on traditional PMO and delivery consulting, complemented by offering development and the structured collection and prioritisation of AI and automation use cases. Proactivity, ownership and the ability to manage work packages largely independently after initial direction are essential.
Core mandate: Turn unstructured requirements into clear work packages, manage them transparently and convert them into robust results with limited management effort.
The PMO+ Specialist consults the structured planning, prioritisation and delivery of work packages within the Agentic PMO and PM Offering streams. The role consolidates requirements, manages dependencies and follow-ups, and provides transparency on progress, decisions and priorities.
In addition, the role develops and maintains reusable offering assets, PMO frameworks, templates and best-practice toolkits. AI and automation requirements are captured in a structured manner, prioritised and prepared for assessment, piloting or implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Backlog and Work Package Management
• Maintain and prioritise a central backlog across the relevant streams.
• Consolidate incoming requirements and translate them into clearly defined, actionable work packages.
• Structure work packages by objective, expected outcome, ownership, dependencies and next steps.
• Independently take ownership of and deliver prioritised work packages following an initial briefing.
• Consult the Offering Coordinator in prioritising and allocating work packages.
Delivery, Dependency and Action Management
• Manage and track dependencies, timelines, actions and follow-ups.
• Document progress, blockers, decisions and open items transparently.
• Identify delays and coordination needs at an early stage.
• Prepare structured escalations and decision papers.
• Consolidate stream results into an overarching view of progress and priorities.
Workshop and Stakeholder Support
• Prepare workshops and stakeholder sessions in terms of both content and organisation.
• Structure agendas, working materials, outcomes and next steps.
• Prepare management updates, presentations and decision papers.
• Track agreed actions and responsibilities.
• Consult Stream Leads with cross-stream alignment.
Offering and Asset Development
• Develop and maintain offering assets such as one-pagers, Compass content and presentations.
• Coach the development of PMO frameworks, templates, starter packages and best-practice toolkits.
• Standardise and document reusable approaches and work products.
• Ensure consistent structure, quality and currency of offering materials.
• Research and structure relevant PMO best practices.
Agentic PMO, AI and Automation
• Research and structure relevant Agentic PMO use cases.
• Capture, consolidate and prioritise AI and automation use cases.
• Structure business requirements as a basis for assessment and implementation.
• Document value hypotheses, user groups, process relevance and expected outcomes.
• Consult the translation of prioritised use cases into concrete next steps or pilot approaches.
Zusätzliche Kompetenzen:
PMO and Delivery
Experience in PMO, project coordination or delivery support roles; confident management of backlogs, work packages, actions, timelines and dependencies. Experience in complex transformation programmes or cross-stream project organisations.
Offering and Communication
Experience in producing professional presentations, management updates, one-pagers and workshop materials; ability to present complex information clearly for the relevant audience. Experience in developing or enhancing consulting, project management or PMO offerings.
AI and Automation
Interest in AI, automation and digital PMO use cases; ability to capture and document use cases and requirements in a structured manner. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, agentic workflows, Copilot Studio or comparable AI tools.
Methodology
Excellent structuring, analytical and prioritisation skills; reliable tracking of actions and decisions; confident handling of parallel work packages. Experience with agile or hybrid delivery methods and backlog or portfolio management.
Personal
Proactive and self-driven working style; strong ownership mindset; ability to take work packages from initial input through to completion independently; clear communication and high reliability. Experience in distributed, cross-functional or multi-supplier teams.
Tools
Proficient use of PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications. Experience with Planner, Confluence, Power BI, SharePoint or comparable project management and collaboration tools.
Language
Very good written and spoken English. Good German skills.
