Your responsibilities

• Lead C&A’s plastic elimination roadmap, ensuring plastic reduction targets are met by 2028 for both consumer-facing and supply chain initiatives.
• Develop strategies for integrating new sustainable business models, such as resale, repair, and recycling.
• Manage and expand C&A’s takeback programs \“We Take It Back\“ and \“Packmee,\“ focused on post-consumer waste.
• Oversee the growth and expansion of C&A’s second-hand brand, \“Carou,\“ into additional stores.
• Drive C&A’s endangered forest policy, ensuring responsible paper sourcing with Canopy Pack4Good.
• Represent C&A in the Fashion for Good Innovator Program, focusing on circularity, plastic reduction, and polyester alternatives.

What you bring

We would be keen to speak to those with a blend of the following skills and capabilities:

• At least 3 years of work experience in the fashion, apparel, or textile industries.
• Fluent in English.
• Good understanding of circular economy concepts, plastic and waste management.
• Good understanding of apparel supply chain.
• Ability to learn quickly; research, recommend, and integrate best practices and methods to improve current programs.
• Experienced and interested in data management.
• Requisite education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project management including excellent stakeholder management.
• Deep personal interest in, and passion for, sustainability topics.
