IT Technical / Business Analyst in the Settlement area m/w/d
Caceis Bank S.A., Germany Branch is looking for an IT Technical / Business Analyst in the Settlement area.
Start Date: 01.07.2024
Main Responsibilities:
- Application owner (accountable for stability, security, obsolescence, and change management)
- First contact person for IT topics related to settlement applications
- Understanding of business requirements from our internal or external clients, defining the functional solution, test description, and execution of system tests
- Definition of technical solutions together with the IT team and review of technical designs
- Cross-department cooperation to integrate the IT solutions into the existing software and process landscape
- Supervision of implementation, testing, and rollout in production, in cooperation with various specialist departments and external service providers
- Participation in second-level support for business applications within your area of responsibility
- Coordination of external service providers within your area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Completed studies in economics or computer science or a comparable education (e.g., apprenticeship in Banking)
- At least 5 years of professional experience as an IT technical/business analyst
- Knowledge of the securities transactions settlement process
- Good understanding of financial markets and instruments
- Good knowledge of IT requirements engineering and software engineering
- Ability to describe complex issues in a generally understandable, precise, and complete manner
- Strong customer orientation and good communication skills
- Independent and responsible way of working
- Ability to work in a multicultural team, flexibility, and a structured way of working
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Deep knowledge of programming languages (COBOL, DB2, JCL)
Language Requirements: Business fluent German and advanced (B1-B2) English level required.
