IT Technical / Business Analyst in the TAX area m/w/d

Caceis Bank S.A., Germany Branch is looking for an IT Technical / Business Analyst in the TAX area (German tax Abgeltungssteuer and tax certificates, relief at source and tax reclaim of international withholding tax).

As an IT Technical / Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

• Understanding of business requirements, defining the functional solution, test description and execution of system test
• Coordination with the development team, including evaluation of the technical solution defined by the developers
• Cross-department cooperation to integrate the IT solutions into the existing software and process landscape
• Supervision of implementation, test and rollout in production, in cooperation with various specialist departments and external service providers
• Participation in second level support for business applications with your own area of responsibility
• Coordination of external service providers within your area of responsibility

Qualifications

• Completed studies in economics or computer science or a comparable education (apprenticeship in Banking)
• Some years of professional experience as a business analyst or project manager in IT projects
• Experience in tax: German tax (Abgeltungssteuer), relief at source and tax reclaim of international withholding tax, tax certificates
• Experience in customer communication and/or vendor management
• Good knowledge of IT requirements engineering and software engineering
• Ability to describe complex issues in a generally understandable, precise and complete manner
• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, flexibility and a structured way of working
• Previous experience with programming languages (z/OS, COBOL, JCL, TSO, DB2)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Knowledge of IBM Mainframe: z/OS, COBOL, JCL, TSO, DB2. E.g. you are able to read and understand source code. Database structures and writing database queries are no strangers to you.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

Business fluent German and English are prerequisites.
