Overview
As Risk Manager for the Nyon branch, you will oversee operational, credit and counterparty risks, strengthening internal controls and risk prevention. You will implement local risk frameworks, map risks, and monitor incidents and client complaints. You will coordinate with Group Risk to ensure alignment with standards, and provide informed risk opinions on new products. This role offers a hands-on chance to shape risk governance in a multi‑jurisdictional bank.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as Operational Risk Manager: implement internal control framework, manage risk mapping and controls at branch
- Monitor incidents and client complaints; lead remediation plans
- Define and implement risk mapping and control plans for the branch; manage outsourcing risks
- Deploy group risk management tools locally (Matrisk, PCAT); promote risk culture
- Coordinate with Group Risk to align local practices with group standards
- Provide substantiated operational risk opinions on new products/services and initiatives
- Collect data for credit analysis and populate rating grids for Swiss funds, institutions and banks
- Set up credit and counterparty risk limits; monitor ratings and limit reviews; report to committees
- Perform control activities and produce risk dashboards and regulatory reports
- Prepare risk and statistical reports for local management and Group functions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- 5+ years in risk management within banking/asset servicing
- Strong accountability and ability to deliver; collaborative mindset
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work under pressure
- Proactive, team-oriented, and capable of working independently with precision
- Fluent in French and English
- Solid knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills
- Understanding of risk management laws and internal policies
