Responsibilities include system administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless communication for users. Work with technologies like IP telephony, video conferencing, and instant messaging platforms.System design and implementation: Create and deploy comprehensive communication systems by integrating voice, video, instant messaging, and email tools.Administration and maintenance: Manage and configure communication platforms such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and maintain high availability of services.Troubleshooting and support: Resolve technical issues with voice, video, and messaging systems, and provide escalated support for users.Performance monitoring: Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve problems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.Collaboration: Work with other IT teams and vendors to integrate communications systems into existing infrastructure and troubleshoot issues.Project management: Lead and manage projects to improve or expand the organization\’s unified communications infrastructure.Qualifications RequiredCertifications: CCNA or CCNP Collaboration and SEC+ or Security+ / CASPClearance level: TS/SCI ClearanceExperience: At least 5 years experienceTechnical proficiency: Experience with UC products like Cisco CUCM, Jabber, and other voice and video conferencing systemsDesiredNetworking knowledge: Understanding of networking principles essential for managing and integrating communication systemsTroubleshooting skills: Ability to analyze issues with tools like packet capture software (e.g., Wireshark) and decipher system tracesProject management: Ability to manage projects from start to finishAble to lift at least 50 lbsWhat You Can Expect A culture of integrity.
