In this role you will plan and synchronize PSYOP activities to support operational and strategic objectives within a cross-functional national security environment. You will shape messaging and campaigns using research and audience analysis to maximize credibility and impact, coordinating with interagency partners and allies. You will integrate PSYOP with other effects to deliver synchronized outcomes across domains and brief senior decision makers on risks and opportunities. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Plan, coordinate and integrate PSYOP activities aligned with command intent and campaign goals
- Develop PSYOP concepts and messaging using research, behavioral science, and audience analysis
- Coordinate PSYOP planning with interagency partners, allies, coalition forces, host-nation stakeholders, academia, media, and vendors
- Integrate PSYOP with broader OIE, cyber, information, and non-kinetic effects across domains
- Support media campaign planning and execution with aligned messaging and targeting
- Use analytic platforms (e.g., Maven Smart System, C2IE) for planning, targeting, and assessment
- Define influence indicators, evaluate audience response, and refine PSYOP plans and messaging
- Advise planners and senior leaders on PSYOP risks and effects to ensure cultural, legal, and operational soundness
- Conduct executive briefings to GO/FO/SES decision makers to gain approval for concepts, plans, or policies
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Graduate of the US Army Psychological Operations Qualification Course
- 3–10 years’ experience planning, coordinating, synchronizing and/or executing PSYOP
- 5 years’ experience in military planning processes (JPP, MDMP, joint targeting, or campaign planning)
- Active TS clearance and SCI eligible
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., Strategic Communications, International Relations, Political Science, Behavioral Science, Military Science)
- Experience briefing PSYOP concepts to executive/senior-level decision makers
- Proficiency in standard military software applications and communication systems
