Overview
In this ORSA role, you apply quantitative methods to support national security missions from Stuttgart, delivering advisory, training, and operational support across commands. You will build and validate analytical models, synthesize findings for decision-makers, and align assessments with operational plans. The position offers impact through shaping joint force effectiveness and informing critical decisions within a mission-driven team. You will work with cross-functional partners to sustain analytic rigor and transparency, with a focus on growth and integrity.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design and implement assessment frameworks using MOEs/MOPs to measure operational effectiveness
- Apply OR, statistics, and data science to analyze complex systems affecting OIE, IW, and Sensitive Activities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of operational data, intelligence reports, and social signals to detect patterns
- Test attribution and statistical significance while quantifying uncertainty
- Develop and validate analytical models to inform courses of action and risk tradeoffs
- Translate complex problems into structured analyses with visualizations and executive briefings
- Define data and collection requirements and maintain longitudinal analytic integrity
- Coordinate assessment activities across joint staff, services, and external stakeholders
- Evaluate second and third-order effects via system behavior analysis and simulations
- Document methodologies, limitations, and lessons learned
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree in a relevant field and 3 years’ military operational planning/assessments experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ experience
- Experience briefing concepts to executive/senior decision makers
- Experience designing and evaluating research instruments for military operations
- Proficiency in integrating data analytic tools, including AI/ML, for assessments and research
- Strong briefing and written communication to executive audiences
